Morototo Seeds Necklaces - Handmade in the Amazon.
$ 22.00
Morototó seeds necklaces are an icon of the Amazon local crafts, made by riverside people and indigenous communities in the state of Amazonas. They are super light and about 27 inches long.
A versatile piece that can be used in many ways: just a very long loop; with two to three loops; a shorter loop close to the neck and the other longer loops; as a bracelet with multiple loops wrapped around the arm, in short, a world of possibility where you choose the one that best matches your style and mood of the day!
Morototo: Schefflera morototoni is a timber tree native to southern Mexico, the Greater Antilles, Central America, and South America. It grows in a variety of habitats, such as the Caatinga, Cerrado, and Amazon Rainforest of Brazil. The seeds are wild harvested from the forest grounds.
Care: These are natural seeds, water and sun may make their colors dull (they will still be pretty). Please use clear beeswax based balms to polish them if needed.
As each bead is a seed, and is designed by Mother Nature herself and they are hand drilled, there are variations in shape, size and color from bead to bead.
NOT FOR KIDS who like to swallow pretty colorful things, keep away from your dogs as they seem to love these seeds!
