    USES:

Palo Santo, "holy wood" in Spanish, has been used for centuries by South and Central American civilizations as an incense and for smudging rituals.

These are Palo Santo sticks, they can be burned on top of charcoal, or by itself. You may need a candle to burn it as it goes off quite often. It doesn't work like incense. Be careful not to set anything else on fire. I also love just carrying it around in my purse or car in a pouch.

When we consume Amazonia's sustainable, non-timber-products, we give the local people an alternative to logging and farming which are the two largest responsible factors of the deforestation of such an important ecosystem.
