Due to the crazy cocoa shortage in Africa, food companies are buying Brazil's cocoa seeds (hopefully it won't change the ethical ways we produce it), my Brazilian cacao butter quadrupled in price. I am not repassing it all to you but I had to raise my prices. I apologize, hopefully this issue won't be a lifelong problem for us and the world.

COCOA BUTTER - (Theobroma cacao)

I remember growing up in Rio de Janeiro and our "chapsticks" were lipstick shaped cocoa butter, yes I am that old. Cocoa butter is probably the one butter that everyone knows and it has a huge place in my heart. My beautiful cocoa butter comes from wild cacau (cacau selvagem) trees and it is harvested by fairly paid workers.
