Tucuma is a palm tree that produces small hard fruits with a big seed. The pulp is very popular in the north of Brazil, where they make even sandwiches from it.
Tucuma butter is made from the seeds and the oil from the pulp.
This oil is very rich in beta-carotene, contains high levels of vitamins A and omega 3, 6 and 9.
It also acts as an inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis, being used on the treatment of melasma and sun and age spots.
Tucuma oil is an amazing product with many uses, but the use of the oil by itself is a little hard for its color and texture (very red and very greasy), even for sunbathing I recommend mixing Tucuma Oil with a lighter oil as Brazil Nut. For use direct on skin it works better for olive and dark skins.
Works very well for thicker and damaged hair, not indicated for bleached blond hair.
