BLACK LAVA Hair Mask For Very Dark Hair
Our production of BLACK LAVA is on a hiatus, but since we are super accommodating we are sharing the recipe right HERE!
BLACK LAVA is Hair Mask with Brazilian Black Clay - Volcanic Mud.
Clay masks can help with hair loss, dandruff, breakage and product buildup, the black clay can also make your dark hair look shinier and more vibrant.
Black Clay - stimulating, antiseptic, anti-toxic and astringent.
Cupuacu Butter - amazing moisturizer due to its capacity to absorb water - 240% superior of lanolin.
Tucuma Butter - the high levels of lauric fatty acid make this butter a vegetable replacement for mineral silicone, it forms a protective film on skin and hair without harming the lipid exchange or clogging pores.
Bacuri Butter - great butter to protect your hair against external agents and for masks.
Pracaxi Oil - richest natural source of behenic acid, which has conditioning properties, it’s commonly added to hair conditioners to make hair shinier and easier to manage.
Andiroba Oil - The beauty industry finds this oil effective in inducing hair growth and against dandruff.
After all these amazing PROS, I need to give you the CONS:
This mask is indicated for DARK HAIR ONLY! It may stain highlights and streaks. You need to apply evenly. It will not dye your hair.
This mask is a bit heavy for fine and oily hair, you may need to shampoo well afterwards, for other hair types a good rinsing with warm water will be enough.
Black clay is messy, make sure to clean your tub or shower after washing and make sure you rinse it well not to stain towels.
Best for people with some experience with all natural butters & oil blend hair masks.
